Gillhams Solicitors are a fantastic firm. So refreshing dealing with a solicitor (Lisa) who advised me on matters which were for my best interest even though this may of affected her fees. I sensed an honesty and transparency which is commendable for a firm these days. Having worked in the field in the past I saw a smart lady who was thorough and honest.

In October 2020 I had to engage the services of a legal firm to look after the an estate on behalf of an elderly relative whose son had passed away without making a will. Gilhams was recommended to me. I don't live in the UK. Initially the Hina Tailor dealt with the file and when she left firm I was concerned, because Ms Tailor was very professional and sensitive to my elderly relative's concerns. A young solicitor named Ms Zeen Al Atroshi then took over the file. I needn't have worried, as I found Zeen equally professional and efficient and all matters were finalised in a timely manner. Gilhams also dealt with the sale of a property, Lisa Cornish and Sharado Watson dealt with this and all dealt with very efficiently. All of these matters were dealt with remotely during the Covid pandemic and there was only one visit to Gilham's office.

Received a recommendation about Lisa Cornish and Gillhams Solicitors from an estate agent for a house purchase and had a fantastic experience. Lisa was professional, courteous and had great communication. She clearly explained the process and kept us updated throughout the purchase process. With Lisa overseeing we had the highest confidence that everything would go through smoothly and everything did. For a house sale a year later, due to the positive experience with Lisa, we used Gillhams again. Our solicitor on this occasion was Sharado Watson. We had a largely positive experience with Sharado and he dealt with our sale in an efficient and professional manner despite challenges from the prospective buyers. All went through successfully. We would have no hesitation in recommending Gillhams Solicitors for a house purchase / sale and will certainly use them again.
