        Closed the local branches and removed the human tellers for machines.

        This is modern high street banking and I'm afraid it's not very good. The bank is in busy Golders Green and there was a huge group of miserable looking people all waiting to see an advisor about some sort of banking issue. Most looked like they hailed from lands far away from North London. Can I say that without getting in trouble? Anyway I was advised by somewhat disinterested Barclays assistant that the wait would be hours. I left immediately. Awful customer service, but I expect it's the way things are heading. At least they appear to have a counter service which is a good thing.

        Worse Business counter ever. You have to wait easily for 45 mins to an hour to be served. I am switching to Halifax
