Full marks! I absolutely love my new round gate leg table. It is beautifully made and excellent quality and very stable. Service was very efficient and much quicker than expected. Can highly recommend.

Really disappointed with the Jo Alexandra concrete table. The depth of concrete is minuscule, its really some sort of fibreglass. Weve experienced dreadful cracking twice now as the product is not fit for purpose. JA know this and have changed their own advice and now advise covering the table at all times all year round. What is the point of buying a beautiful looking concrete outdoor table if it has to be covered all year round? Pointless. Real concrete exists all over the world outside and doesnt have to be covered, it isnt really concrete, thats the problem. Hugely disappointed. To be fair JA replaced the first table which is appreciated but the second one started to crack and chip even before winter. Sadly, the product just isnt suitable. Please do not waste your money.

I feel compelled to write this review after seeing that other reviewers have had a similar issue with their concrete products from Jo Alexander. I purchased a table that arrived in August 2021 and within a year it has cracked beyond belief. I followed all the instructions and waxed the product (I have other concrete products throughout my home so this wasn't new news to me) and thought I had bought a durable piece of furniture that would last at least 10 years. Alas 12 months on I'm at a loss what to do. They advised that hairline cracks are normal, and that is how they started but the cracking on the concrete surface is so severe now I can't see this lasting another year. I emailed customer services several times looking for support all who implied it was my fault and were very unaccountable. Their most recent comms do suggest they have had other complaints as they have proposed a repair product that other customers have used. For over 1600 I don't expect to be repairing products within 12 months. I think there must be a flaw in the development of the product and that they should own up and admit and recall and replace. That is what any reputable company would do. An investment of 1600 was not something I took lightly - I did a lot of research across the market and although this product was significantly more expensive than others I decided that the brand was well known and therefor I was safe. I feel they have handled my complaint poorly, they haven't properly investigated the issue and now I'm stuck with a damaged lump of concrete in my garden that I have no idea what to do with. Do not purchase this product, it has been poorly designed and they offer no guarantee. Shop elsewhere.
