Me, my partner and Jack Russell had the loveliest of welcomes here. Well kept ale and Guinness to die for all rounded off with an evening meal that was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend if you are in the area and definitely worth a journey if not. Big Thank You! Gary, Chris and Fannie xx

Tried this pub after reading some of the reviews, and we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was just excellent, more like a high class restaurant than a pub. The scotch egg was delicious and the chicken thigh in a delicious cream sauce was just stunning. The ice cream was the best I have ever had. We will definitely return. Thank you Emily, James & Desi.

Tried this pub after reading some of the reviews, and we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was just excellent, more like a high class restaurant than a pub.
