I have 3 children training with Lea Valley Karate Academy with Sensei Katie for over 7 years starting as young as 3. My kids love it and makes me so proud watching them progress. Katie and all the other Senseis are all amazing and have the right balance in making the sport fun as well as pushing them to achieve. I have now started training as well which is something i didnt think I would ever do. During the lockdown they all went above and beyond in continuing the training via zoom throughout encouraging and keeping the kids motivated. Which I cant thank them enough. I highly recommend the academy to anyone who is interested in a sport for the their children or themselves.

My son has been learning Karate with LVKA since he was 3 and a half. His Karate teacher is extremely skilled at teaching kids. I have never had any issues with the class times. They run the lessons on time and you are well informed of any new changes coming up. The class is reliable and not over packed with too many students which means your child will get good amount of attention. Katie is a black belt herself and has been representing UK in many karate tournaments abroad. I Definitely recommend it.
