Parking in the village is free, although on busier days it may be better to park at the castle.
A nice cosy tearoom hides down one alley (they make great cake), and a lovely country pub is by the pedestrian entrance to the castle. The buildings themselves are gorgeous, the sort of buildings you would imagine an English village to look like.
There's also a church you can visit, we were lucky enough to be the only people inside so it was very serene.
Make sure you check out the village's namesake, tucked away down an alley so it's easy to miss! The view from the top is beautiful and looks put over fields. If you're as lucky as we were you'll also catch birds of prey flying overhead.
