The Castle Inn Pub

The best pubs are English countryside pubs as they are chock full of character, and the Castle Inn is certainly no exception! The staff were very friendly and easy to have a chat with (very knowledgeable about the pub itself) and the food was excellent. I had the burger and my partner jacket potato with prawns. You definitely get what you pay for. The chips were crisp on the outside but fluffy on the inside, and the burger was a no nonsense good old fashioned burger, just tasted great. Good selection of drinks available, including non alcoholic for those who drive. In the sun the garden is a lovely place to sit and enjoy your meal or just a nice cold drink!

Could not recommend The Castle Inn enough. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is amazing. We held our sons Christening at The Castle Inn and everything was perfect. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone had an amazing day. The buffet provided was excellent with a large variety of food, drinks were served to guests quickly and with ease. If anyone is looking for a beautiful setting with great food and fantastic service this is your place !

We visited Chiddingstone Village yesterday and had lunch in the pub. What a lovely setting, very traditional and cozy. It has new owners who were very friendly and accommodating. A choice on the lunch menu from meals to snacks. All food homemade and very delicious. Will definitely be coming again
