Bought the lab experience for my husbands birthday & it was brilliant & we had a great time - Chris was really knowledgable & friendly & we had a great small group. So worth every penny. Plus great Gin !

I booked this experience for my wife whose a gin fanatic, so the chance to craft her own was a chance not to be missed. Arriving on an industrial estate on a dark night was a little weird, but we were met by Chris and his faithful and welcoming pooch. Having visited a few craft breweries I wasnt sure what to expect and the difference was surreal, very much an artisan laboratory with an extensive range of botanicals to concoct a very personalised gin. Chris is very engaging and enthusiastic about all things gin and is caring about ensuring you end up with a gin that suits what you look for in a glass. The ability to have your own label bestowed on your creation and the storing of your unique recipes to enable Wessex to distill again really is the icing on the cake The time flew by, which is always a great sign of a fun evening and Id highly recommend this experience to anyone and will definitely look to return with friends another time Ps leave the car at home as you wont want to miss out on tasting many of the marvellous Wessex gins and your own tipple
