Blagdon Fruit Farm and Tea Room

Good for fruit picking, although be aware the fruit goes fast and it's not cheap. Check what's available before you make your journey. The tearoom is small, and unfortunately incredibly overpriced. We paid almost 40 for high tea for three served on one three tier platter of very small cheaply made sandwiches, small store bought(half of them) cakes, small scones and a tiny bowl of crisps. Soft drinks are charged extra. Yes it's a cheap high tea, but it's been done so cheaply it rather takes the piss. High tea is supposed to be sort of nice, and this was like childrens portions of a kids party. And the man we mentioned the size vs price to couldn't have cared less. Wouldn't go again.

A lovely find, we had a great coffee and amazing warm cheese scones, the cakes looked good as well. We had a walk around the fruit farm to see the sheep and the new alpacas and even bought a couple of pumpkins. Would definitely recommend this place for good coffee fresh food and value for money.
