I am writing to provide feedback on my recent experiences at your establishment. While I have visited your pub on quite few occasions since I moved to Chichester in early January 2023. Infact it was our favorite pub for quite sometime and we stopped by at The Fountain almost every other day. Thus I feel compelled to bring your attention to some concerning issues that have occurred during my most recent visits. I believe that constructive feedback is crucial for the growth and improvement of any business, and I hope that you will take my concerns into consideration. Regrettably, it seems that some of your staff members may be overworked or experiencing personal difficulties, as I have witnessed and been privy to their rudness towards customers on few occasions by now. While on the first couple times this has happened to me and my friends, we chose to overlook these incidents, We were once again disheartened to encounter yet another episode of rudeness from your staff this past Saturday. As a result, I feel compelled to share my experience here. Specifically, I have witnessed instances where patrons were met with offensive or embarrassing remarks in front of other customers. This behavior is not aligned with the principles of hospitality and customer service. It is my belief that a business owner or manager, along with their employees, should be eager to engage in private conversations with customers should they prefer for the customer not to behave in certain way, ensuring their comfort and avoiding any form of public embarrassment. Hope you shall take this feedback into consideration, while due to everything that we have mentioned above, myself and my friends will not be comming back to your pub again, non the less we wish The Fountain for every success.
