EDIT: In the last few months they definitely seem to have trained more staff or are more aware of the need to actually take parcels. But still very inconsistent. Never have I seen a 'post office' so consistently not manage to post anything. The magic mystery person who runs the post office counter is never there. Not sure why the Post Office as a business is even using these lot. If you fancy staring at a felt tip sign saying 'The Post Office is closed today' you'll have a great time here.

Thought Id try the post office after boycotting it following a very bad experience a couple of years ago. I wish I hadnt bothered. One customer at the counter one behind her. No customers anywhere near the entrance or the tills. I was asked by the staff member in a very direct manner to step outside and wait. No reason other than I was blocking the entrance (from nobody). It was extremely cold outside so I requested that I be able to stay inside. I would of course have moved out of the way had somebody entered or a crowd built up. No, the woman behind the counter wasnt having it and I was again asked to step outside which I didnever to return. In the 2 years since my last visit they have learned nothing about Customer Services there. Back to Parklands where they are unfailingly courteous (and always open when they say they are).
