I met Helen first in a fitness group session during lockdown. The way she engaged with people of every age and level of fitness in that course was really amazing and subsequently she worked with me as a coach for two years in individual weekly sessions. Throughout this time Helen found the perfect combination of encouragement and challenge, nudging me to go that little bit further. I loved that we did many different things so that a session never got boring, and Helen was very good at crafting individual training schedules and challenges that worked for me. I thought Id never say this, but Helen managed to get me from total couch potato to a level where I feel the need to work out once a week. She introduced me to boxercise which I truly enjoyed. Id have loved to continue getting coached by Helen and continue my fitness journey with her, but Im relocating to a different country. I can recommend her unreservedly shes a magnificent trainer, coach and sparring partner with an infectious energy and enthusiasm who made exercise fun!

Eric and I have been coming to Helens classes for some weeks now and thoroughly enjoying the experience. Helen is so caring of each individual and their particular needs. She goes to a lot of trouble to help each one of us to improve our quality of life which is much appreciated and always with a smile and endless patience.

I was one of the first people to join Helen's class in 2018, and I have been attending as often as I can ever since; I think it is excellent. I suffer from chronic osteoarthritis, and have suffered from balance problems all my life, having suffered ear infections as a child (I never learned to ride a bicycle). Without this class, I would be even less mobile than I am! Helen is knowledgable, sympathetic and actually makes exrcise fun. She encourages us all to challenge ourseves, but is sympathetic if we fail, and always has time for individual advice, if needed. The other participants are friendly and welcoming, and I recommend this class whole-heartedly.

Helen is an excellent trainer at Steady Steps. She is always cheerful & fun and she makes sure that she considers each persons needs. She helps us to fulfil our potential safely. Her classes are well prepared & well paced. She varies our exercises so that she keeps our interest and she always gives encouragement to all, whatever their ability. I have no hesitation in recommending her.
