Our first experience of a triple decker pulpit : the preacher preached from the top, the Word was read from the second level and the clerk would lead the singing of the Psalms from the bottom pulpit. A simple style of building, with a gallery on three sides.

A fascinating place. If you are interested in history there is a lot to learn here, and if you are in Chichester it's worth finding it, just a short distance from the main shopping area but a world away atmospherically.
