Poundland

Has been closed every time Ive tried to go in. Thats 3 times Ive tried to go in this week and closed every time with no notice when they are back open. I have also been over about a month ago and again closed

I like Poundland, and I like some of the items you sell. Never been to your Chichester branch, and I hope I never go back... Chaos, in fact put items down and walked out... the staff are half the problem. My wife and I were 'trying' to look at items while a staff member was unloading a cage, the cage was in front of the items we were trying to view, he was so busy chatting to other staff members, that even once he had finished he wasn't interested in helping us access the items we wanted to buy, so he carried on... Yes I could have asked him to move it, but I just don't think it would have registered... In the next Isle, staff member with another cage... there are no words, he managed to totally block the isle with it, in fairness he did offer his apologies... but then carried on... items were everywhere... it looked like a Tornado had torn through the branch, if I am honest, it was just good to leave... I think you can do better, esp when compared to your other stores / branches.

CHICHESTER - WHAT A CAR CRASH OF A STORE - 22/1 As per usual no staff serving - Forced by the extremely rude woman with short brown hair barking orders at customers to use the Self service tills which do nothing but play up, then they went down and wouldn't take card payments, a customer walked out with her items having not paid as her card wasn't accepted due to Poundland's poor self service tills and this staff member did nothing, Had reduced items myself so used the service till but could only pay by cash and as i had reduced items she had to put them though manually , i was charged full price, On questioning this she went mental; and wouldn't believe they were reduced , having shown her they were and her colleague standing there reducing the items she ripped the sign from the chiller and ripped it up, shouting, She came back to the till and completely messed up the transaction while still being rude, On being pulled up about her behaviour she denied all knowledge of her actions - A complaint will also be made to head office and i will be putting this out to other review platforms as this needs addressing -Poundland sort it out
