Terrible at alterations. Went for several fittings to resolve a 'shadow' under the bodice of the dress (purchased from the shop) and their only solution was to iron interfacing into the front. Upon receiving my wedding video and photos the shadow is clearly visible in my wedding video and some of the photos. I'm wearing the dress again for my reception in August and upon contacting a seamstress (unaffiliated with the shop) recently was told immediately that the shadow was because the material didn't fit around my hips properly and that the dress just needed to be let out at the hips slightly. Such a simple fix yet beyond what the shop seem capable of doing, just wish I had taken it elsewhere for alterations from the start. I was also made to feel awkward when I asked to try the dress on multiple times (after travelling an hour and a half to the shop) and feel that the woman I usually dealt with was actually quite passive aggressive. Unfortunately it wasn't until I received my wedding video and bulk of my photos that I realised just how visible the shadow still was as felt quite rushed when I was in the shop. The shops only follow up advice for when I wear the dress again was to 'pull the dress up and tape it' as they had apparently done all they could do to resolve the issue ......confused as to why they didn't even suggest letting it out at the hips given that to others in the industry it was clearly obvious that was what needed doing!!!! Accessorise are also massively overpriced and poor quality.

After my wedding got delayed several times due to covid the whole team were also so understanding and lovely, and did everything they could to help me, doing extra things such as storing my dress for as long as they could. They even comforted me on a particularly emotional, tearful time! Proof that the ladies here really go above and beyond in making their brides feel special.
On my wedding day itself I couldn't have been happier with my choice of dress and how it fitted me. Thank you so much to Ashley and the team xxx
