Truly Gorgeous was the third wedding dress shop I went to and totally changed (and improved!) the whole experience. Sunay is so welcoming and genuine; she understands the art of dress making which I felt really helped guide me right. I tried 6 dresses which were all beautiful and different styles. Truly Gorgeous also stock designers I hadnt seen in the other shops or online which ensured I got something I felt was much more unique. When I tried on the one Sunay also knew that was the dress for me; for my shape and personality, it was perfect. Since buying it, Ive been back twice to check whether it needed any alterations and finally for Sunay to show my Mum how to help me into the dress on the day and how to keep it looking perfect all day. Sunays professional approach and personality made a big impression on me and Mum and we cant recommend her enough. Thank you Sunay and I look forward to sharing the photos!

I cannot recommend Sunay and Truly Gorgeous enough. We postponed our wedding reception due to covid and having a baby, and there ended up being three years (and several stone lost and gained) between me choosing my dress and actually wearing it. Sunay was amazingly supportive throughout the entire process, and ended up altering the dress so that it was still the dream dress Id chosen, but also unique and incredibly flattering. If you want a personal touch, an honest opinion, a talented seamstress and to be cared for throughout the entire process, Sunay is the right person to go to. Ive recommended her to anyone whos asked for wedding dress advice because I had such an amazing experience.

Sunay is someone who takes her work seriously, is passionate and goes above and beyond. My dress came out perfect, despite dubious beginnings. I was even given little tips for getting ready and conducting myself on the day, which were most welcome. I would recommend Truly Gorgeous to anyone.
