Gold-standard customer service! I would just like to praise the gold-standard customer service that my husband and l received from Laurence Talman at HSBC Chichester last Friday, 21st April 2023. We had called in to enquire about opening a joint bank account and Laurence took us aside and completed all of the admin required. He was a breath of fresh air, enthusiastic and knowledgeable and a credit to the bank. We are so grateful as these days customer service like that is very hard to obtain.

Ive recently had a brilliant experience with Laurence. He was highly professional and managed to change the details on my account with no problems, although, I had not booked an appointment. He went above and beyond to make myself comfortable throughout and he really is a credit to Chichester HSBC. I had to change my details with other banks too and the experience I had with Laurence at HSBC was very exceptional in comparison to the other two banks. Bank with and get wages into HSBC. Tried to withdraw cash over 300 'Sorry we do not have a counter facility you have to go to bognor' I can give you my money but you wont give it back to me? Make it make sense.
