What a lovely place lovely place to stay, to have a conference, or have afternoon tea, meal. the reception staff were professional and helpful throughout, they keep the place in good order, as we left a painter was painting the bar area, he told me he had five more rooms to do. The room we stayed in, the Appleton, the lock on the door was up upside down, a bit fiddly to start with, no accessible 13, amp socket s to plug your phone charger or kettle in, even though they had hot water outside the door to make tea coffee etc, they have bowls of fruit throughout the hotel, the breakfast on the first morning was delivered by a waiter, the second morning was self service, which I preferred, the usual cereal's more fruit, ham , yogurt etc etc. They have a lift.can you please change the lamp shade in our room, it is old and damaged and let's the room down. Nice spacious shower room and bath, not disable friendly, nice towels The children will love the secret rooms built into the walls, one of them is used to store fans and heaters. There is a ramp for wheel Chairs, there is a public house near by, less than 10min, walking, good food and beer, friendly staff, wheelchair friendly to get into pub, a few steps to go to the toilet
