Beanacre Barn - Somerset Holiday Cottage

Beanacre Cottage is a very beautifully organised property with every requirement catered for, and some lovely details. We were made to feel very welcome, despite booking at very short notice, and enjoyed a cosy stay during some very frosty weather. This is undoubtedly one of the very best self-catering properties we have ever stayed at, and we would not hesitate to recommend it for comfort and good value.

We have been to many holiday cottages and Beanacre Barn is the best so far. The accommodation is very spacious for a 2 bed let. Also everything you need is provided and all of the fixtures are of very high quality. it is not just high quality inside but the garden furniture on the private patio and lovely garden are also very good. The owners, Susan & Tony, were very welcoming and very helpful. The barn is located in a lovely rural area and is so tranquil that the only sounds are the sheep and the birds - very relaxing! Beanacre Barn is simply the best holiday cottage we have stayed in. The barn conversion is very spacious, extremely well-equipped and sympathetically done, with an amazing garden and very helpful but discrete owners. Being on the edge of the Mendips it's handy for Cheddar Gorge, Wells, Glastonbury etc, and tucked away in a quiet village surrounded by pleasant countryside. To cap it all, there is even a charger for electric cars! Needs at least 6 stars!
