Vicky sold us Paddy a stunning 15.2th bay gelding. He is adorable. He needed putting on some weight and muscle build/ conditioning but she was very upfront and genuine from the start! Very refreshing in the current horse world.. He does exactly what she said he would do and much more. My daughter adores him and he has a forever home with us. I would totally recommend buying a horse from Vicky. She runs a very well established and long standing equestrian business. Xx

After my 21 year old beloved mare Dubh had emergency life-saving colic surgery in August 2021, she went straight from hospital into Vicky's full care at Chew Valley Equestrian - and we couldn't have hoped for more. Throughout Dubh's recuperation Vicky kept me fully informed and reassured with video updates and photos, so that my panicked heart was calmed. I was unavoidably away for much of the anxious first weeks, but under Vicky's expert attention, my girlie's recovery was such that we decided to stay on as liveries, with Vicky and her daughter Tara gently bringing her back to ridden work, only leaving recently to be nearer to home. This is a professionally run, friendly yard with good facilities, and a very experienced, knowledgeable owner who looks after each horse in her care as if it was her own. For anyone seeking convalescence, or full livery where your mind can be at peace that your four-legged friend will be well looked after, you should find a happy home here.

I can't recommend this yard enough, great facilities in a lovely location. I had my horse stabled here for over a year and the care she received was excellent. Vicky is extremely professional and knowledge and when I have a horse again in the future I hope I am lucky enough to stable them here.
