I ordered a bike rack on 3/4/23, order was in "processing" for 2 weeks, I e-mailed repeatedly to find out what was going on, I was told the item would be shipped and I would get notificatiion and tracking information. I did not get notification of shipping or tracking information. The order was finally delivered 28/4/23 whilst I was at work. Delivery driver called me 7 times within 2 minutes interupting meeting with clients at work. Product seems ok. Company demonstrated poor comms and after-sale care, perhaps they are only interested in keeping their larger clients happy. Mr S Hasan, manchester.

PLEASE READ ALL UPDATES WITH IN THE REVIEW. ABSOLOUTLEY APPALLING!!!... Broxap will confirm you a lead time of 4 weeks, and when it gets to the day before delivery they advise it will be the following week, and then they do the same again the following week. They are out and out liars and not to be trusted with delivery dates. Sadly this is not the first time they have lied to me. The most frustrating thing is that they get defensive when you tell them how appalling their service is, and don't do anything to try and deliver your items quicker. You are just a number in the production line and they don't want to affect their profit margin even though it may have a severe impact on yours. This particular item is a 5k bike rack. They are currently 11 days over due, and are currently advising a week, and I fear that they won't deliver on that hollow promise either. An update in regards to this review: I have upgraded the review from 1 star to 3 stars due to Broxap sending out the bike shelter on a dedicated lorry and being on site the following day when we opened the site at 7am. It was incomplete as there was a component missing which was outside of Broxaps control, but this will follow shortly. The fact that they reacted swiftly on this occasion (before this review was listed) and went above and beyond to get what they could on site when they did has allowed us to install the bike shelter in time for hand over. I do also need to add that I have dealt with Broxap a number of times in the past 5 or so years and I will still use them in the future, so they can't be all bad. They just need to keep a higher level of communication and understand the financial consequences that they can inflict on a contractor when they drop the ball. UPDATED REVIEW - FOR FRESH ORDER PLACED OCTOBER 2018 Google doesn't appear to allow me to write another review for another order, only to amend my existing review. So I placed an order for some bollards, and on this occasion Broxap delivered ahead of schedule, and had this have been a separate review on it's own, Broxap would have received 5 stars. UPDATED REVIEW - FOR ORDER PLACED AUGUST 2020 Well they pulled it out the bag. They managed to produce an order ahead of the usual time scale. We were desperate for some benches, prior to a school re-opening after the school holidays, and we were short on time. Broxap helped us out greatly.

The product is good. Unfortunately BROXAP are unable to deliver to site on time. They provide incorrect and misleading information about delivery times. They deliver loads in multiple batches. They subcontract out delivery services. I would suggest collecting product from their depot.

Initiallly very poor customer service which improved once issues had been escalated to management level The company were specified as a supplier by our client so not my choice. First product delivered was apparently in stock then told it would 3-4 weeks. When delivered the product which were tree grilles and guards were of poor quality. The frames were very awkward to put together as the holes for the bolts didnt align properly but the tree guards were chipped and the finish extremely poor. Very quick to acknowledge the complaint but then left it 10days before I chased them up. They then promised a courier would contact me to arrange pick up for a return. Still awaiting that call Unfortunately we have 3 separate orders with this company as specified by our client. The first 2 havent gone to plan so rather concerned about the last part of the order. I have upgraded my initial rating following intervention from management. The problems highlighted were dealt with and the remaining order delivered on time. Its a shame that it required higher level management to rectify the issues. Had this service been available from the start then the rating would be higher. Client was happy with products supplied in the end.
