Well, this place is bigger than I thought. I was expecting a little micropub, but it stretches back further than I thought. Didn't have food so can't tell you about that. Drinks weren't cheap, but to be honest, I'd rather pay a little more and get a nice atmosphere. Bar staff were great. They were happy to have a laugh with you, and the table service was efficient. I'd definitely go back. Parking: There is a multi storey about 10 mins walk away. Although there is no street parking outside the place, that doesn't seem to stop some people.

We like the general atmosphere and look of this place so decided to have a bit to eat there this time. The pizzas were very nice to fair. However, the potato wedges were bland anaemic with barely any seasoning and I genuinely think the coleslaw is the worst I've ever tasted. And I'm including the coleslaw most places throw in for free! Still a nice bar for a drink but will pass on the food next time.

Nice little pub/restaurant. Food would have been better if cooked correctly. All food cooked in a pizza oven,wedges not cooked enough and no colour on them and my burger was medium rare erring on the rare side, luckily I like it like that but most people would have sent it back I'm sure. It was near to last Food orders so I think chef rushed it. Told staff and they responded OK and gave me a free pint. I will go back though its got a nice vibe .
