        A kind friendly pub bar staff very friendly great food at a good price, and dog friendly even doing dinners for dogs. Highly recommend.

        had Sunday lunch a few weeks ago and it was fabulous. home made proper dinner, very accomodating with vegetarian, gf and standard lunches for 11 of us. All piping hot, friendly service. I believe today was the busiest they have ever been, but managed with smiles Highly recommended, but book in advance if you want to be sure of eating!

        Excellent Sunday Lunch! The standard of the beef was really good and better than most generic pub offerings. It is also very good value for money, at 9.50 for a standard, or 11.50 for a large lunch. I would suggest trying it out. It is a bit off the beaten track, but well worth a visit The bar staff and landlady are also very friendly.
