Stopped here for 2 nights last weekend ...Great location,friendly staff, beautiful clean room including a breakfast hamper with tea and coffee making facilities...just a perfect place to stay would defo recommend and would defo stay again...thankyou

Lovely proper pub, recently refitted with a good choice at the bar. Staff are friendly and helpful. Stayed overnight, rooms are clean and well presented. Only possible downside - ridiculously steep stairs! But its a VERY old building. Recommended without reserve. Did I mention the excellent food available during bar opening hours
