St Michaels Nursing and Residential Home

Unfortunately my experience of this home was very poor. Complaints raised to management, and had to wait 29 days for a response. Inappropriate moving and handling techniques observed and reported on 2 seperate occasions. Poor options for soft diet clients, overall cleanliness of the home needs addressing, carpets often looked unhoovered and dirty, with an overpowering smell of urine. Home uses a lot of agency staff which means clients don't always get consistency of care. I would not recommend this home.

Thank you so much to St michaels care home for all the care and compassion you gave to Vera (Nan) and all of the family. Fantastic caring staff. Especially a big thank you to Sharon the nurse that stayed behind tonight after her shift finished, to ensure that the compassion and care continued in a dignified manner until the end. Very much appreciated, a big thank you to you all xx
