Avenue House Surgery - Inspire Health

Rang to book an Doctors appointment to be told I had to book online. I wanted to see a specific Doctor and was told i could request one via online. Filled out the online form, requested a certain Doctor that I had seen in the past. Got a text message to say that a telephone appointment had been made for me but not with the Doctor I asked to see.......What is the point requesting a doctor!!!!!!

Used t b good surgery, Dr's nurses receptionist but, since gone on line appointment, it's rubbish have a job, I phoned them up t c if I can get appointment, they said they carnt give u one over phone, got t keep, tryingI've been having black out, I'm thinking of changing Dr's, becorse of this

Just tried to use the new online booking system AGAIN - three previous attempts the system has crashed and I haven't been able to make contact. Rubbish! The information on the website says it opens at 7am - well, when I try to access it today it won't be available until 7.30. Nightmare for people who work! No wonder A&E departments are overwhelmed.

New appointment system is shocking, if you aren't up at the crack of dawn to submit an appointment request, you won't even be able to submit one as they get too many requests and shut down the request system. Basically its first come first serve. The online appoinment requests are now completely useless as you will never be able to get an appointment. Awful appointment system, it needs changing.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all that work at Inspire Health. I have a debilitating problem which has meant that I have been off work for 7 weeks. The receptionists have been wonderful and delightful to talk to, something you do not expect from a lot of surgeries today. And to my wonderful Doctor who works within the partnership of the Inspire Health surgeries. She has put out all the stops to get me better as soon as possible so that I can get back to work. From chasing up the hospital to get me appointments, to getting me the relevant medicines to speed up my recovery. I cannot thank her enough. Having ulcerated colitis is no joke xxx
