My partner needed his repeat prescription & was told that it was getting put through Thursday morning (27th) as an emergency prescription & would be ready by 9am on the Friday (28th). Upon going to the surgery on the Friday, he was told that they had not put it through. Does that mean the receptionist said they were going to do it, came off the phone & thought Nope, not going to process that? They then said they could message the Doctor & the Doctor might get back to them at some point to approve the prescription, but who knows? Maybe they will, maybe they wont. These are extremely important tablets & the withdrawal effects could be very harmful. Every experience of ordering repeat prescriptions has been a nightmare for him at this place. Honestly, it is no wonder that people suffer in silence when this is the level of stress they have to go through to get important medication. Im not one for negative reviews, but the situation just makes me sad to think of the vulnerable people that may be too afraid to ring or persevere. I appreciate they are really busy, but a little empathy goes a long way

Monday 17th April rang from 8 am and took 101 times to get through, then waiting 35 mins to speak to someone finally got appointment at Whittington surgery yeahhhhhh was a bit late and the male nurse practitioner refused to see me there was no other people waiting......what's happening to are once great gp surgery with caring doctors????? Disgrace

Rubbish service no patient continuity. Put in a complaint regarding being given the wrong dose medication which made quite for months. never had an acknowledgment an apology or anything! Duty of care doesnt exist at Ashgate. They dont take mental health seriously.

Try to call can never get through to book an appointment, went into the practice was told they have no appointments (even 2 weeks in advance), and to call back in the morning. Call the next morning cant get through!! Seriously what sort of service is this? What am I paying for? How sick do you have to be to get an appointment? You may as well Google your own symptoms and hope for the best

Shocking, unable to get through on the phone. Took 38 calls this morning (redialling) when the lines opened up at 08:00, then into a 20 minute queue. First available appointment online is the 17th March! Had to give a 1star as unable to give zero stars
