The Chesterfield Hearing Practice (The Hearing Practice Group), R J Donnan Hearing Care

I had previously tried NHS hearing aids seven years ago and whilst they increased the range of frequencies I could hear, they didn't really help much in actually hearing speech and in noisy environments made me unable to hear anything. I opted for the Chesterfield Hearing Practice based at least partly on the Google reviews and I am pleased to say I wasn't disappointed. It is a small practice but well equipped and Kirstin was very friendly and helpful, answering all my questions. She recommended a pair of hearing aids for me to have on free trial and that was very helpful in deciding to go ahead with the purchase. I found that now I could hear other people much more clearly in an unintrusive way and without the feedback that the NHS aids generated and can watch TV without the sub-titles that I had been relying on previously. The hearing aids certainly weren't cheap but they come with 5 year guarantee and support package. All in all I am very happy with the whole experience.

Had the ear wax removal today after having pain, dizziness and some hearing loss which was really getting me down. I can honestly say it was an instant relief for me, I felt better straight away. Both members of staff were extremely friendly, chatty and caring. So happy, would highly recommend to anyone, dont hesitate to do this if you have a blocked ear, its brilliant!! Thank you
