The whole process from start to installation was as smooth as a baby's bottom. Laura was extremely helpful at the booking-in phase, making sure to address each of my questions and offering guidance and advice accordingly. Fast forward to today's installation and both Graham amd Steve were brilliant. Very helpful in emptying my garage to do the cement filler, showing me progress on tje roof change and chexking to make sure i was happy before they continued, and offering some great advice. Very neat and tidy and cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommend the company.

Initially I thought my roof replacement had gone well. However after about 18 months, I noticed that the supporting beams that the new roof is attached to were completely rotten. One of these was very wet and there was also water running down the walls around the same area. In addition Id paid for gutters to be put up and these were not attached correctly - it appears that roof fixings were used - and further, the gutter had completely detached at one end and water was running down the wall. Compton were very reluctant to come out and tried to wash their hands of it, but did eventually, where it was agreed the wood was rotten. The wet wood was due to the first team failing to put barrier tape up. The office quoted 180 to replace the beams. They claimed to only be charging for the timbers themselves, yet googling roof timber, a 3m length is only 9. They werent budging from this so I felt I had to pay it to get it done. They were clearly recouping the cost of the entire return visit, although it wasnt my fault this was necessary. It would have been a simple job had it been done first time round. And also the work was supposedly under warranty. Ive had no apology for the bad job that was done first time round. Ive had to clear my garage twice, had all the inconvenience of return visits and so on and have paid extra for the privilege. I do appreciate had the beams been identified as an issue that I would have been charged something for them to be replaced during the original job. However where I might have been able to live with it before, I certainly couldn't now as they had deteriorated so much due to being constantly dripping wet - so it had become a necessity to change the beams, rather than a nice to have. And anyway, if it was missed during the original job, surely it is for the company to rectify? I would note that Ian and Paulius did a great job of replacing the beams in difficult circumstances, ie with the roof already replaced, and sorted out the guttering problem very well. It is a shame they were not on the original job.

The lads arrived promptly, they were very polite, and within a couple of hours a new garage roof was fitted.

A garage roof replacement. Excellent service from initial enquiry to finish of work. Very friendly and efficient all round. Cannot fault workmanship. Quality looks superb, Completed for price quoted and all rubbish cleaned away. The team arrived on time and were completed in half a day for a 10' x 24.5' apex
