Ive been going to the Samantha Bullimore Wellbeing Studio for 3 months now, where I used to have to go to Sheffield for health and wellbeing treatments/classes, so now having somewhere on the doorstep is fab! The studio is beautifully decorated and you feel relaxed as soon as you walk through the door. With Sam Ive had a series of Pina Sweda Massages, using hot oils massaged into the body to invigorate, nourish and awaken circulation. Whatever my mood is when I go in, Sam always makes me come out raring to go! Also went to the Winter Warmer workshop hosted by Sam and Caroline, where we had a therapeutic foot soak, received a mini foot and leg massage before settling into a guided meditation. We then created a mood board to remind us what we want to achieve for 2020, which is proudly hanging on my wall. The lunch and the hot chocolate was delicious! I go to Pilates on a Tuesday with Lisa, which has really helped with my posture and joints since Ive been going, as I spend most of my days driving or sat behind a desk. Lisa is very good at giving you a one to one experience during her class, and can tell if its not comfortable for you and will take the time to help you adjust. Ive been to two Gong Baths with Julia, where the first time I wasnt really sure what to expect and didnt fully relax, but the second I was that relaxed I felt like a blob on the floor and struggled to get up! Ive found it helps remove any stress or anxieties I have, and makes me feel more balanced and calm. I have a high pressure job where I felt like I was going to have mental breakdown last year, where I thought just exercising might help but it really didnt. Going to a variety of classes and treatments has really helped, as I make more time to do things that make me happy, instead of comfort eating, binge watching tv and buying things I dont need!
