Barrdale Furniture Inspections

Just want to express our sincere thanks for Dale/Callum for all their help and knowledge to resolve a dispute with a sofa bought from Furniture Village. We had raised a Section 75 claim and the bank asked us to provide 3rd party sofa inspection report. We found Barrdale by googling and checking reviews. Barrdale's came to our house and inspected the faulty sofa and within a few days provided a comprehensive sofa inspection report for the faulty sofa. Eventually after a couple of months, Furniture Village contacted us and offered a replacement sofa. Took a few months to resolve but we got there! Without the report this would not have been possible. Thank you again!

An exceptional family run business who provided us with a professional and transparent report, which led to a great outcome for us after months of struggling with our faulty bed. We reached out to Barrdale following 2 Homeserve reports which were inadequate. Could not recommend this company more - the best client service we've experienced in a long time. 5 stars all round thank you Dale and family.

Excellent service, we had them in to give us an inspection on our L Shap sofa due to a dispute over a refund for the sofa which was not fit for purpose and spring issue. The inspection showed up the faults and a very in depth report was sent to the retailer and we got a full refund and the inspection costs. I would highly recommend barrdale to any boby who as issues regarding sofas etc. Many thanks again Barrdale for your highly trained staff and excellent service. David in lancs

I called on Barrdale for a furniture inspection in connection with a chargeback claim for furniture bought from ScS. I was getting nowhere with my claim as ScS refused to do anything about the faulty furniture and refused to enter into any further communication with me. My Credit Card Company requested an independent examination as the ScS technician had reported that there was no problem with the furniture and this decision had been upheld by his supervisor. This was despite a report from the store manager saying that in his opinion the furniture was faulty and did not match that on display in the showroom. Dale from Barrdale attended and completed his very thorough examination and report. A written report was provided within a few days and this was submitted to the card company. My claim dragged on for several months with ScS refusing to take any action. However I am pleased to say that I have now received a full refund of the cost of the furniture and the Inspection Fee from Barrdale Furniture inspections. The furniture has been returned to ScS. I am sure that the report compiled by Dale was instrumental in the change of response from ScS. This satisfactory conclusion to my 7 month 'battle' is greatly appreciated. Thank you Dale.

An Amazing company! I was in deep trouble with a well known furniture supplier who had taken 4K from me and left me with a pile of rubbish which they wouldn't take back. Barrdale's expert came and examined the furniture with electronic precision and produced an unbiased independent report which I gave to my bank so they could retrieve my money via a section 75, which they did! So a very big well done to Barrdale's for their excellent service.
