        One of the most overpriced meals I have had in a long time. I have had a better ribeye from the supermarket, chewy and fatty. The wine was pretty awful, bland, no depth. Service was poor, non attentive, had to ask for menus etc. Gave it 1 star as the chips were great!

        Very disappointing for the price. Martini was terrible. Prawn cocktail was great in a classic way (not sure how you could go wrong). Main courses were very disappointing. Crumble for desert was cold. I was expecting a lot more with the name and 50 a head. I agree with other reviews. Staff very keen but no knowledge, reflects in the kitchen I presume. More TGI than MPW, much better options in Chester

        Wetherspoon quality at premium prices and a 10% service charge was a insult . Not a memorable meal for our party and we won't be returning . If you can eat the rock hard toast served with the patte you have better teeth than members of our party and the steak was only just edible.
