Not cheap for wine pours BUT had a lovely Falanghina glass. Lovely interior and best of all, friendly and accommodating staff that was very willing to explain the wine options and allowed numerous tastes. Plus dog-friendly!! Great to pop into post cathedral. We didnt eat but theres an array of Italian food options and nibbles.

So I was so hopeful that this would be a true Italian experience. The food didnt disappoint, although the bruschetta was poor as a starter. Dry bread, no onion, or basil and a distinct lack of olive oil. The Grande sharing platter was phenomenal, it needed more bread but the quality and portion size was perfect. One thing that lets this place down is the music, I was expecting Italian music, maybe some Andrea Bocelli. But no, we had northern soul, and at the time of writing this, the theme from shaft came on Thats like going to Hickorys and they have classical music on. It just doesnt work. 5/10 Staff arent attentive and once wed ordered dessert, another waiter came along and asked if we wanted dessert 5 minutes later. Its restaurant basics 101 that failed here.
