The Room 2 Groom

If you're looking for a caring, professional and approachable groomers in Chester, look no further. My 11 year old dog - Holly - has been to many groomers over the years, but probably not as many as most dogs, as she absolutely hates it. I warned Liz of Hollys' temperament (she's never bitten anyone, but has a good growl at anybody who tries to groom her!) and also a number of bodily ailments such as warts and sensitive skin that Liz needed to be aware of. She was also extremely matted having not visited a groomer for far too long. Liz took the time to make sure that everything was covered, documented, and a little time was spent getting to know Holly and making her comfortable before the groom started. Holly gave Liz a very unfriendly greeting at first (barking at her when trying to say hello) but after a few minutes I couldn't believe my eyes when I watched her trot off after Liz into the grooming area and didn't give me a second look back. When I came to pick her up she was looking fantastic, happy as anything and not the usual stressed out dog I find when picking her up from other groomers. Liz was also a lovely person for ME to get on with, so I can see why Holly took to her too! Thank you so much Liz for your caring service, I will come back to you again and again - and I'm sure Holly can't wait!
