We are so happy that we have found Alison, she has worked wonders with our 3 year old nervous cockapoo who we initially took 1 day per week. He was incredibly frightened to go in for the first 4/5 times but now he cant wait to get into see Alison and her own 2 dogs which. We are utterly amazed at this as he is very frightened around other dogs having been attacked when 2 Dobermans when he was a puppy. He now goes 2 days per week and he has stayed overnight when we have been away. We would certainly recommend Alison and we are so grateful for her support with him.

Booked my dogs in apparently they wouldn't settle but she had a house full of dogs so I think she was overwhelmed! Originally she told me it was just my 2 so had the stress of getting a friend to collect and look after them for the weekend as we were away

I booked my dog into this place which the owner, Alison, told me is licensed and is in Curzon Park, which it is not, and consequently it took me a bit of time to find it as I don't live in Chester and my Sat Nav couldn't quite find the address. I arranged a time to visit with my dog. The owner was not there when I arrived and didn't have the manners to let me know, she wouldn't be there. I had just travelled 300 miles to Chester and made sure I arrived on time, because that's good manners! A woman answered the door and told me she was the daughter and her mum was 'at the shop' and I should go there? Or I could come back at 5pm! My senses strongly told me not to leave my dog at this place and I'm glad I cancelled his stay.

Alison was absolutely fantastic with our very old boy Billy-bob while we were away for a week. We had a huge scare with him when he first arrived to board and had to rush him to the vets. However, Alison was great, professional and very very understanding. It's clear from the moment you meet Alison and her family they are dog people and they really care. Couldn't recommend Royal Lodge Dog Home Boarding enough. Five stars arnt enough!
