        Awful service. Referred by GP for eye exam to minor eye surgery at Boots Chester, surly arrogant assistant books me in (should've have known what would happen), not told by this half wit or by my GP's I would need an eye test first and it would cost 25. Absolute waste of my time, will not be using again - train your staff and stop misleading your customers.

        Was referred by doctor, told it should be free urgent eyecare, they did not listen to me, told me it should be chargeable, I said no, corrected them and explained that symptoms were recent. They did the eye test then cornered me and made me feel blackmailed into paying despite me explaining it should be free. Tried to complain about the doctor to me. Doctor confirmed they definitely should not have done this. When I asked them to sort it out with the doctor they refused and said it is not their problem. The service after this gets worse. The assistant manager and manager both ignored my comments, argued and were quite rude telling me I was not listening when that is exactly what they were doing to me. I deserve my money back. Pretty sure management show signs of narcissism.
