Grosvenor Manor Care Centre

Grosvenor Manor is a beautiful home. I have worked there for nearly a year and I would rate it as one of the best care home I have worked in.

Appalling experience. Started well, everyone seemed lovely, Dad happy, I was asked for and wrote a great review, then our Dads irreplaceable wedding ring went missing and when we asked for help we were treated with confrontation. Worse than that, upon visiting Dad one day I found him very poorly, again confrontation when I asked to see the doctor. I finally got to speak to the doctor by phone with the same member of staff speaking over me in the background, giving the doctor misinformation. Dad subsequently went into hospital and on being discharged & returned to the care home we were told he had to leave because he was no longer healthy enough to be there, so they neglected him, caused him to deteriorate and then kicked him out. He ended his days miles from home, having had the disruption of having to adjust to new surroundings. If your family member is in this facility please, please keep a look out for them. I will never forgive Grosvenor Manor for what they put our Dad through.

My husband Peter is a resident there, lovely place ,wonderful staff, who constantly go above and beyond, can't recommend it enough.
