Chester Boat Hire

So expensive for just half an hour should have more options to hire boats for longer and what ever you do make sure you bring the boat back on time as the fee's are unreal if you don't. This has so much protencial if it was run properly as there's hardly any were else to rent a boat especially were this is located only one there if they done day hire or even just half day would get so more buisness

Incredibly rude to me and my girlfriend. One of the guys who works there thought it was appropriate to start shouting at me for the crime of helping to steady the rowing boat with a hand to stop it touching the side of the pier, which as an exepienced rower since childhood is simply good etiquette. He went from 0 to shouting and it made literally zero sense in the context, it was incredibly rude and me and my girlfriend both felt it was simply not on. I stood up and asked who was shouting at me, and he said "Well you weren't listening".... which makes no sense as it was the first thing he had communicated and his method of delivery was shouting. Basically I got shouted at like a dog for touching the rowing boat I was about to get into. 0/5.

Traveled all the way to Chester during the nice weather to hire one of the motor boats down the canal to only be refused as we were apparently intoxicated however offered to supply a breathalyser sample to which we were laughed at. Never felt so degraded by a professional company with my partner. After watching many others on the canal who were clearly not in control on the motor vehicle I felt the company a sham! Was probably a blessing in disguise as the prices where extortionate. Wouldnt even give 1 star if there was a option
