Wow, wow, wow! We are a group of ladies - aged 2 - 86 who have been travelling to various holiday lets across the UK for the last 16 years - at least once a year. Hands down, this is the best accommodation we have stayed in. The pictures don't do it justice. Everything, from dealing with Caroline at Daisy Joy Escapes, to the thoughtful gifts of fizz and cards for two of our ladies who were celebrating a land mark birthday and wedding, to the accommodation and experience was absolutely first class and could not be faulted. This is a beautiful house, really well presented with some gorgeous finishing touches. Its very well equipped and in an absolutely fantastic location, right on the city walls and an easy amble into the city centre. A wonderful place of luxury for our weekend of family celebrations catering for the needs of all three generations in our party.

For a winter weekend birthday celebration, bringing the family together last Saturday at Edgar House provided the perfect luxury location. Glorious river views, a few steps onto the Roman City Walls and a short stroll into the centre of Chester can't be beaten for location. With plenty of free parking for all of us, dealing with our luggage was easy. The house is indeed luxurious and immaculately maintained, with querky artworks and a very well equipped kitchen. Everyone in our party slept well during our stay as the beds are comfortable and very quiet. We used our own kareoke machine in the cinema room and our efforts fortunately couldn't be heard in the rest of the house. I must not forget to thank Caroline (the House Manager) who patiently answered all our queries before hand and gave us a warm welcome upon arrival. If you want to visit Chester in style you could do no better than stay at Edgar House.
