I've always typically gone to a high end barbers, but I've often found they try to be to cool and edgy and don't listen to what you want. I decided to give Phillip a try because I have a number of my own customers who recommended him. Not only did he listen to what I wanted, he tactfully pointed out the way in which my hair should be cut given the angle it grows as well as it naturally being quite fine. No one has ever taken the time to do this. He then methodically took his time actually cutting and dressing my hair, as well as talking me through what and why he was doing it. The result: was the best hair cut I've ever had bar none!! I was that happy I went back the next day to thank him again. Not only was he great to chat to he's the most skilled hairdresser I've ever had, and I understand now why some of my own clients have been following him round for up to 30 years. I could not recommend him enough.

I am a new client to "Phillip Hughes Hairdressing" and had such a good time here. Faith (faithhair.co on Instagram) did my hair. I got it coloured platinum white for the very first time and absolutely love the final result. The entire team has been so welcoming, caring, attentive and professional. I can highly recommend this place *****. Located in the centre of Chester looking out to the beautiful Chester cathedral. Thank you so much. I will definitely be back!
