The doctors themselves are really nice and helpful, but it's impossible to get an appointment on the phone and if you show up in person at the door some of the staff can be really quite rude with you as if you are in the wrong for wanting an appointment.

It would be easy to say that the problem is over-subscription, and that is probably true. However, the system they are running with appointments is nothing short of shambolic, ring up at 8 to give up an hour of your life trying to get through to someone only to be told there are no appointments left for today and we don't pre-book appointments. I'll just try harder not to get ill, that's probably best! I have no issue with the NHS by the way, fully supportive of them as they are everyday heroes, unfortunately though this practise is being run by idiots!
