After having horrible toothache for two day , I was given an emergency appointment this morning, through the Dental Helpline. When I spoke to a lovely lady who phone me , to get my appointment book , she was so nice and explained everything as , I needed to be there within 40mins. Being in pain was bad but my nerves and anxiety, kicked in before I entered the practice, I was greeted by their friendly faced receptionist, who talked me through fill out forms needed. My appointment was with Dr Paul Mottram , honestly cant remember walking up the stairs but I do remember, him making feel comfortable by saying oh ladies first , always I was then greeted again by another lovely smiling face , Im sure her name was Charlotte. All the way through my appointment , she gave me so much encouragement, held my hand , even stopped me shaking, let me swezze the life out of her hand hehehe and at one point she even held my head, softly as I think she could tell I was going to cry. Paul honestly, talked through everything and after an X-ray , spoke about my options, he told me to take 10 minutes, so I stepped outside, for some fresh air. It was funny to see him come outside to get me , with a how do you feel now look Paul definitely had his work cut out for him, dont think we expected the procedure to give him the hard work he had put in. To say Im nervous of having a toot out is an understatement but after what felt like a lifetime but with lots of explaining, telling me what will happen next, reassurance and encouragement, Dr Paul managed to extract the problem tooth!! I did say Im sure youll be glad to see the back of me , not my mouth Then I was given all the after care advice and given a pack of instructions and extra gauze. Ive not felt any discomfort or pain since and the anaesthetic has worn off. Dr Paul has since called me to check how I was doing, I honestly didnt expect that and truly humbled and grateful for him to have , help me and my very awkward/stubborn tooth, which now wont be giving me 3 nights of no sleep Thank you so much everyone at White House dental practice Candice xXx
