Majestic Academy of Performing Arts (MAPA)

We have two children ( 5 and 9 ) at MAPA both in different classes as of ages and interests. I can honestly not recommend this school enough, it is an excellent school not only for dance but drama too as both my children do several classes, with excellent training where students are treated with respect. My Husband and I are 100 % happy and so are our children obviously. It has been 15 months and each term we are delighted with the teachers, even online the teachers went above and beyond for the children. Joanne has such a beautiful way with the children and has their best interests at heart. They know our children so well that each time they give us a feedback, we completely recognise them and individual feedback. The teachers are great in terms of advice and most important, they are realistic and fair. What I like the most at MAPA is that every member of staff teaches rigour, respect and that is not incompatible with having fun ! My children always have the choice to attend or not and guess what even though we pay termly, they would never miss any lesson. I would recommend without hesitating on our experience on dance classes, drama club and music lessons such as piano and singing.

MAPA is an amazing school, they have such a family feel as soon as you walk through the door. I have 2 children that attend different classes and they are different in personality, which was a concern for me, but the teachers are fabulous whether your child is a bit shy or very confident. I cannot thank you enough for the way my shy little 7 yr old is now dancing, singing and acting with confidence and my super confident 11 yr old you have helped to calm and refine his love of musical theatre in each of the disciplines...the improvement is simply amazing. Would recommend to any age and ability xx

Thank you so much to all the team at MAPA! My 5 year old girl had an amazing time at the Descendants holiday club! Everyone was so welcoming and she loved all the dancing, singing, acting and crafts! Special thanks to Miss Joanne as I was safe in the knowledge that everything was done to the upmost standards for social distancing and Covid. Sophie cant wait for the next one and well be booking onto the Saturday Mini Musical Theatre!

This is a fabulous place. They have really nurtured our little one and the attention to care and detail, checking they are okay and boosting our childs confidence has been wonderful. They did everything during lockdown to keep in touch with us and ran successful online Zoom classes - it has been amazing. Cant recommend them enough.
