Meant to accept parcels as it is a drop off location, won't always take them so can be a wasted journey, as they apparently barely have room for their own stock.

Typical, demoralising 'convenience store'. Too many inferior brands, such as 'Happy Shopper'. Milk days out-of-date. I heard someone complaining about sour milk. I don't know if the penny will ever drop that the dates need to be checked on perishables. 16 aspirin were 89p. I went elsewhere and got them for 40p. I've been overcharged at least once (though I don't know if was done, deliberately.) I corrected the male shopkeeper on one occasion about the amount of money asked for. Shop was closed on a couple of occasions when I got there, early. It should have been open, according to what was indicated on the door. I heard the obnoxious, male shopkeeper muttering about me to a woman behind the counter. Given the above points, and probably other things that I can't recall, he needs to ask himself who the "pain in the arse" really is.

Great local type shop with a huge range of goods. Started going in there more regular during the lockdown. When he seemed to be the only place that could get me my regular supply of Guinness. So now I try to go in several times a week for my stuff. Opens till at least 10pm
