Bean & Cole

This is a fantastic coffee shop with great coffee.....we are Ausies so we know!! We had a coffee here every day for a week while we were in the lovely city of Chester. The staff are brilliant and so friendly and the barista is excellent. Definitely go here when you are in Chester.

My ladies dragged me to "Bean & Cole" for a coffee break. They said it was organic and rustic, whatever that means. The place was packed with people who looked like they were on their way to a yoga class (or just came back from it). The coffee was good, I'll give them that. The food looked like it came from a magazine. My wife raved about the banana bread, my daughter devoured the acai bowl. I was too scared to try anything with more than two syllables, so I stuck with the sourdough toast. It was fine. The place had a nice vibe, if you're into that sort of thing and willing to skip your fry-up.

Considering I've been coming to Bean and Cole for nearly 5 years, it's bad that I'm only just reviewing them now. I absolutely LOVE this cafe / coffee shop. The owners are the nicest people and they seem to employ staff who are just as lovely. Always a warm welcome, recommendations for food and drink if needed and happy to check allergens if you ask. There is always a good range of food - including vg and gf options and the coffee is the best in Chester by a mile. I also love the new market Bean and Cole - where my husband and I had a great chat with the owner about Berlin's coffee scene and the coffee we'd ordered. See you again soon!
