I cannot recommend Darren enough. Darren came and fitted my open fire last October and did a really outstanding job. Completed to a high standard and left the room very clean and tidy. The fire place just looks lovely! Darren is also a really pleasant guy who was very helpful throughout! Thanks to Darren for doing my fire!

Waste of time. Had an appointment for today but nobody turned up. Called after waiting for 30 minutes and apparently they didnt have a van so couldnt come; just forgot to tell me. Book at your peril!

I would highly recommend D.S Jones. They modified our fire place, opening it up and installing a wood burning stove. Darren was polite, punctual and a pleasure to have working in our home. Great quality of workmanship, knowledgable and informative. The work was very reasonably priced and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody. Thanks again.

Darren recently installed two separate Log burners for me at our home in Whitegate. We also required some chimney building work to make the log burners viable. (Something that was highlighted by our buildings survey, but Darren also advised when he came to survey the job) Absolutely first rate service from providing quote, advice, advice on which burners to purchase, installation and all the building work required on the chimney. Darren also slightly altered our fireplaces and wooden fascias which ended up in an excellent result. First class service and Installation and I will highly recommend

Darren quoted for and fitted a multi fuel stove in our lounge. First opening up the fireplace to see what kind of space we had to work with and explaining the various options. We went for an oak beam, cottage style brick splits on the back face and an Indian stone hearth. Quality of work is first rate, Darren's plastering is particularly impressive, much better in fact than other tradesmen we had in recently. The stove is a Hunter Herald and throws out plenty of heat. Love it. Will definitely use Darren again when we're ready to do the dining room. Thanks again
