Quick stop this morning to fix girlfriends bike. A busy shop but staff slotted us in, with a free barrel adjuster. Excellent customer service, wish Id got the staff members name to thank him personally! Will be going back.

Not much stock in branch. Also if you purchase something of them off the Internet you can't take it to the shop for a refund. I ordered an 11 speed shifter and they just sent me half of it. Very poor customer service in chester branch. I will never use them again

I've used this place on a couple of occasions now and both times been very disappointed with the customer service first time was when i took some faulty goods back and they tried to refuse to give me a refund. today i went as i had bought some cleats from the trafford centre store but chester is closer to where i live so went there to get a refund as i had found some look cleats at home and couldn't find my shimano pedals so just decided to stick with the look ones. i again asked for a refund had my receipt etc and as i had only bought them friday afternoon thought shouldnt have any problems getting a refund for them i was told i could only have a credit note or exchange. i explained that i had nothing else that i wanted to buy so that was pointless. the gentleman said he would have to get managers authorisation so proceeded to send him a message, the manager did agree to the refund however none of the staff in the shop could process refunds, total and utter joke this was, one of the other shopworkers told the guy dealing with me to ask Adam (store manager) for his numbers so he could process the refund but this was not forthcoming i ended up leaving the shop still with the cleats and now have to look at trying to sell them privately just to try and get my money back for them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I will never shop in Evans Cycles again that is for sure.

Had a new chain fitted recently by an Italian member of the staff. Incredibly helpful, friendly and competent. Also patiently gave lots of good advice. Thank you
