What an absolutely beautiful shop, with some on the nicest artwork I have seen and such a lovely range. What made me fall in love with the shop was the owner, he was so informative and knew everything about each painting and the artist, you could feel his passion. I am looking forward to finishing my house renovation and buying my first piece of art from here :)

Baron Fine Art in Chester offers a wide range of original paintings and prints - both traditional and modern - and there are sculptures too. Prices range from just a few pounds to thousands. What makes the gallery extra special is that Steve and his team are so welcoming, always happy to share their knowledge about the different artists. The atmosphere is relaxed and I never feel pushed into buying. Perhaps as a result, I have bought two or three paintings in the past and have no doubt I'll buy another as there is always something interesting to see. But this week I discovered the Steve's picture framing service and decided to frame a watercolour I had attempted of a tiger. Steve was on hand to suggest the right sort of frame and glass, and the price was really competitive. I'm thrilled to bits with the result - suddenly the painting looks almost professional! Only almost, mind. The gallery is right in the city centre, about 80m from The Cross down Watergate Street and I recommend you call in to see what's on offer.
