First day at work they didnt know I was coming because vital didnt tell them, the hours were different to advertised so I had to think about leaving almost as soon as I had started, and now ive been waiting over a month for my P45 and final pay. Nobody is replying to emails or returning calls. I can deal with poor service, but I dont like stealing. Vital people have money that legally belongs to me and im now having to look into small claims court to get it.

Never had a problem with this agency until now, promise you full time work then lie and say that the company dont need any workers, have to bug them for your pay, ring you about a job then leave it weeks on end telling you to start the next day, lay you off a couple days after, definitely going to be going to a different agency

If I could give 0 stars then I would. Was made redundant from my full time marketing position at the start of the pandemic and found temporary employment through Vital People. All seemed good to start with, then came the issues. Admin errors resulting in underpayment happened occasionally which I suppose is common place at agencies though doesn't help when you have bills to pay... Then there was the issue of not being auto-enrolled onto a workplace pension. Very naughty, and illegal. I've still not had a full explanation of why this was missed. I was palmed off and was blamed on another company of which they no longer work with. Not very helpful... Over 12 months without any contributions whatsoever from the company or myself. Zero co-operation to try and resolve this. Disgraceful to say the least. When leaving to go to full time work again I requested how many holidays I had accrued and therefore was owed at the end of my employment. Absolute radio silence from all parties. 13 days I am owed still. Two and a half weeks worth of wages. NOT PAID! 7 months of chasing without reply has led to more dead ends. Even when emailing the operations director I had no luck. No way to run a recruitment agency. An absolute disgrace of a company and would not recommend to anyone no matter how desperate you may be for work. I can only imagine that if the shoe was on the other foot it would've been resolved in an instant. Hundreds of pounds out of pocket, over 12 months without pension contributions and seemingly not one toss given. If anyone is thinking of using this company, think again.
