Came in with a bad cut and needed help as the dressing were stuck to the wound. Did not expect to be spoken to so rudely also given i was directed there by the GP, shocking treatment by people supposedly in a caring profession.

I visited Cheshunt Minor Injuries Unit today with an injured wrist and thought I might need an x-ray to be sure it wasn't broken. When I arrived the receptionist (Tracy) was cheery and professional. I was stunned that my details were found easily, even though I reside in a different borough. Nice to see that the NHS can behave in a joined up manner here! I was quickly seen by a very helpful triage nurse (Bethany) and sent off for an x-ray. Couldn't believe how quickly I was called through by Peter to have the x-ray done and within a few minutes I returned my x-ray form back to reception to await the results. Soon I was called through by Jane to discuss the results and happily for me, no break but a bad sprain. The lovely Jane talked me through care of the injury and then I was free to leave. I would like to thank everyone involved for their impeccable service today - everyone I met was friendly and professional and the whole process took less than 2 hours!!! What a truly remarkable service this is.

The whole process has been fantastic. I havent attended the doctors for years due to appalling service at my local doctors surgery in Loughton (Loughton Health centre, The Dr, Loughton IG10 1HW) I called them today to try and speak to someone about a painful injury and the lady said call Monday 8am and get in the queue! Its been like this for years and I have spent hours and hours at Whipps Cross A&E wasting the NHS doctors and nurses time when these things could have been resolved by my local doctors. Cheshunt Minor Injuries Unit has been a godsend! I arrived and was seen within 10 minutes and off to X-ray moments after. 50 minutes from start to finish! Thank you for a amazing service.
